Description
An assortment of antique and vintage pictorial buttons featuring bird motifs. The collection includes various materials such as embossed brass, silver-tone metal, colorful enamel, hand-painted ceramic, glass, and carved composite or natural materials. Notable designs include figural penguins, songbirds, a large circular button depicting a dove with an olive branch, and a metal fretwork button featuring a perched bird over a dark leather background. The items exhibit a variety of styles ranging from detailed late 19th-century metalwork to mid-century modern enamel and plastic designs. The buttons are mounted on a light-colored display card.
