Description
A collection of buttons featuring various motifs and materials, organized into themed display boards and cards. The assortment includes categories labeled Animals Asst. Materials 2003, Arms and Armor, Knights and Heraldry, Animal Skins Look-Alikes, and Apples. Materials represented include carved bone, ivory, jade, brass, lucite, rock crystal, cloisonne, urea formaldehyde, cast polymer, horn, and enameled metal. Decorative techniques include relief casting, hand-painting, inlaying, scrimshaw on resin, and lampworked glass. Specific motifs include a carved bone crocodile, a rock crystal frog, a brass hummingbird, and various heraldic shields, knightly helmets, and animal skin patterns such as leopard and zebra prints. These items are buttons mounted on labeled display boards. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
