Description
A collection of vintage and antique glass competition buttons presented on three categorized display cards. These are buttons primarily composed of black glass, featuring a variety of decorative techniques including iridescent luster finishes, hand-painted details, and metallic accents in gold and silver tones. The assortment includes molded pictorial subjects such as a wolf, zebra, birds, and a lizard, alongside floral motifs and geometric patterns. Notable examples include a large brass-tone butterfly button and several pieces with colorful glass inlays. The display cards are labeled Mixed Modern Black Glass, Black Glass Pictorial, and Lustered Blk Glass, with the pictorial card containing handwritten descriptive labels for specific subjects.
Cards approximately 9 x 12 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
