Description
This collection of antique and vintage items consists of numerous black glass buttons professionally mounted on three separate display boards. These are buttons that exhibit two primary decorative techniques: silver-lustered finishes and gold-stenciled or decaled designs. The silver-lustered group includes various geometric, floral, and multifaceted patterns with reflective metallic surfaces. The gold-decorated groups feature intricate motifs such as floral sprays, stars, birds, paisley patterns, Greek keys, and horseshoes. One board is specifically arranged in a star configuration with handwritten identification labels including Paisley, Bird, Greek Key, Imm. Fabric, Horse Shoe, and Tulip. The buttons are presented in a variety of shapes including round, oval, square, and rectangular forms. The boards are titled with printed labels Silver Lustered Black Glass and Blk. Glass With Gold.
Board height: approximately 9 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
