Description
This collection of vintage woodworking hand tools includes several specialized instruments for joinery, smoothing, and shaping.
A Record No. 078 Duplex Rabbet and Fillister Plane features a blue-painted cast iron body with raised lettering stating RECORD and MADE IN ENGLAND. This tool is designed for cutting rebates and is equipped with an adjustable side fence and depth stop hardware.
A Fulton Jointer Plane serves as a long-bed bench plane. The cutting iron is stamped with FULTON WARRANTED, a brand manufactured for Sears, Roebuck and Co. The cast iron body is finished in blue paint and features a wooden tote and front knob.
A No. 4 Smoothing Plane is marked MADE IN USA at the toe. The cutting iron bears a circular mark with a central T, identifying it as a True Temper manufacture. The black-painted body is paired with a dark-stained wooden tote and knob.
An adjustable spokeshave in the No. 151 pattern features a green-painted cast iron body. The casting includes the model number 151, and the blade is stamped Germany.
A curved drawknife is included, featuring a shaped steel blade and two turned wooden handles secured by metal ferrules.
