Description
A collection of various decorative and collectible objects including a large ceramic vase, a religious figurine, a silver-plated serving piece, and a glass vessel. The ceramic vase features a light blue celadon-style crackle glaze on the neck and base, with a central band of dark brown, textured relief depicting stylized calligraphy characters. A molded composite figurine depicting the Madonna and Child is mounted on a black base which bears a stamped oval mark containing the letters SANTINI above a small central symbol and the word ITALY below. The collection also features a Victorian-style folding biscuit box or muffin warmer in the shape of a scallop shell, constructed of silver-plated metal with a gilded interior and pierced internal dividers. This item is stamped on the interior rim with the words MADE IN ENGLAND and additional marks that include a crown, the letters W, B, S, and a crossed-arrow symbol. Additionally, an amber glass beer growler with a mechanical swing-top stopper is included, featuring a label for Granite City Brewery.

Madonna and Child figurine length: 10.5 inches. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The silver-plated biscuit box exhibits significant tarnishing and surface wear with notable loss to the silver plating throughout. The ceramic vase shows inherent crazing to the glaze and minor surface accumulation. The Madonna and Child figurine and the glass growler show minor surface wear consistent with handling and age.
