Description
A diverse collection of trading cards, sports cards, and hobby collectibles. The lot includes a large quantity of Disney Lorcana trading cards, primarily from Set 3: Into the Inklands (EN-3). Identified cards include Wendy Darling – Authority on Peter Pan (158/204 Rare), Helga Sinclair – Vengeful Partner (075/204 Uncommon), Nottingham – Prince John’s Castle (203/204 Uncommon), Olympus Would Be That Way (197/204 Common), and Razoul – Palace Guard (188/204 Common). These are stored in a white cardboard bulk storage box.
The sports card component features a green vinyl 1988 Baseball Card Collectors Album and multiple loose nine-pocket pages containing cards from the late 1980s and early 1990s. Represented sets include 1989 Donruss (Diamond Kings and MVP), 1988-1989 Topps (All-Star and League Leaders), 1991 Score, and 1994 Upper Deck Collector’s Choice (Home Run All-Stars silver foil inserts). Notable athletes identified include Rickey Henderson, Don Mattingly, Cal Ripken Jr., Bo Jackson, Jose Canseco, and Ken Griffey Jr. Football cards include 1990-1991 Pro Set, 1991 Fleer, and 1992 Upper Deck featuring players such as Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith, and Troy Aikman. Basketball is represented by 1992-1993 Fleer cards of Larry Bird, Patrick Ewing, and Karl Malone. The lot also contains vintage black-and-white Ohio State collegiate football cards and team cards for various NFL franchises.
Non-sport cards include several 1994 Fleer Ultra Spider-Man red foil cards from the 2099 subset, featuring Spider-Man 2099, Doom 2099, and Punisher 2099. Additionally, there is a stack of holographic anime-style cards from a boutique Chinese CCG set with gold-colored borders and SR rarity markings.
The hobby segment includes three vintage Ral Partha white metal/pewter gaming miniatures in original blister packaging with the TSR Inc. logo. Identified items include an Ogre Mage (item 11-405), a Giant Spider, and a set of dungeon scenery featuring crates and barrels. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
Most trading cards appear to be in Near Mint to Lightly Played condition. The Disney Lorcana cards show sharp corners and clean surfaces. Sports cards within the album and sleeves appear well-preserved, while loose-stored cards in the bulk box may show minor edge and corner wear. The vintage vinyl album shows external shelf wear and scuffing consistent with age. The gaming miniatures are sealed in original retail packaging, though the packaging exhibits significant wear including yellowing of plastic bubbles, cardboard warping, and one package (Ogre Mage) is reinforced with black adhesive tape.
