Description
An assortment of eight vintage knives and blade components consisting of professional kitchen cutlery, utility knives, and historical-style blanks. The collection includes a large Cutco No. 1025 chef knife featuring a dark wood-grain composite handle with three silver-tone rivets. The blade is stamped NO. CUTCO 1025 MADE IN USA and PROCESS PAT. NO. 2147079. Also included is a Chicago Cutlery 61S utility knife with a light wood handle secured by three brass rivets. Three Dexter brand commercial knives are present: a model 3375R boning knife with a dark wood handle, a model 1376R utility knife with a light wood handle, and a model 1376 utility knife stamped with the distributor mark DON CHEF-WISE. The lot further contains a serrated steak or utility knife with a contoured dark wood-grain composite handle similar in style to the Cutco pieces. For restoration or hobbyist use, there is a large carbon steel meat cleaver featuring a hanging hole and a full tang without handle scales, and a clip-point dagger-style blade blank with an integral crossguard and a narrow tang.

Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
Items are in used condition and exhibit various stages of wear. The stainless steel Cutco and Chicago Cutlery pieces show surface scratches and light sharpening wear consistent with regular use. The carbon steel Dexter knives exhibit a heavy dark patina and significant sharpening wear to the edges; handles show age-related drying and staining. The large meat cleaver and the dagger blank are missing handle scales and show heavy overall patina, surface oxidation, and rust. The tip of the dagger blank appears blunted.
