Description
A large assortment consisting of the Pokemon Battle Academy board game, vintage Topps trading cards, modern Pokemon Trading Card Game cards, and a group of Magic: The Gathering cards. The Battle Academy game includes the original outer box and three themed 60-card decks: Player One (Cinderace), Player Two (Pikachu), and the Mewtwo Advanced Deck. The collection features a significant group of Topps Pokemon trading cards from the TV Animation Edition and Johto series, with notable examples including #248 Tyranitar, #243 Raikou, #227 Skarmory, #199 Slowking, #246 Larvitar, and #247 Pupitar. Also included are multiple PokeTrivia cards such as #09 Blastoise, #117 Seadra, and #133 Eevee, as well as movie scene captures from Mewtwo Strikes Back and Pikachu’s Vacation. Several small square stickers, consistent with Artbox productions, feature Raichu, Gloom, Meowth, and Exeggutor. The modern Pokemon TCG component includes a large quantity of loose bulk cards from the Sword and Shield era, featuring a Detective Pikachu movie set Mr. Mime card #11/18 housed in a protective top-loader. A stack of approximately 50 to 70 Magic: The Gathering cards is included, identifiable by the standard brown card back. Accessories consist of a clear plastic multi-compartment storage case, a pack of Ultimate Collection soft sleeves, and a holographic multi-character flip coin. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The Battle Academy board game box exhibits shelf wear including edge scuffing and corner compression. The Topps trading cards generally range from Lightly Played to Near Mint condition, with some examples showing minor edge wear or surface silvering consistent with age. Modern Pokemon TCG cards appear to be in Near Mint to Lightly Played condition. Magic: The Gathering cards and accessories are in used condition; the soft sleeve packaging shows significant wear and creasing.
