Description
Mendini by Cecilio model MV200 student violin outfit. The instrument features a wooden body finished in a high-gloss orange-brown varnish, an ebonized wood fingerboard, and matching tuning pegs. It is equipped with an alloy tailpiece containing four integrated fine tuners and a black plastic chin rest. Two interior labels are visible through the f-holes; one reads Mendini by Cecilio and the other identifies the model as MV200 with serial number 200063018. The outfit includes a black canvas-covered soft-shell case with a red plush interior and a stitched Cecilio patch on the exterior. Included accessories consist of an unmounted wooden bridge, a black shoulder rest, a bow, and rosin.
Total length: 22 inches. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
Used condition requiring professional setup. The bridge is currently detached and the strings are loose. The varnish exhibits minor surface scratches and small nicks throughout the body and scroll. The bow is in poor condition with significantly frayed and broken hair. The included rosin is broken.
