Description
A vintage S.T. Dupont gold-plated pocket lighter featuring a vertical engine-turned ribbed pattern across the body and lid. This rectangular butane model includes a side-mounted striking wheel and two screw-down caps on the base. The side plate is engraved with the S.T. Dupont script logo and PARIS in block letters. The base features stamped markings including S.T. Dupont, PARIS, MADE IN FRANCE, a square hallmark, and a hand-stamped serial number 1 J E 2 Y 6 5. Accompanying the lighter is a black pebble-grain leather protective case with an embossed Davidoff script logo on the front flap. The case features a single-stitched perimeter and a fold-over closure. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The lighter shows moderate surface wear consistent with age and use, including fine scratches, scuffs, and minor finish thinning at the corners. Visible residue is present in the recessed grooves and around the base components. The leather case exhibits light edge wear and surface creasing. Functional condition is untested.
