Description
This collection consists of multiple antique doll components made from bisque porcelain. Identifying marks include an Armand Marseille mold number 1894 head with shoulder plate marked 1894 AM 3 DEP, and a partial Armand Marseille mold 370 shoulder plate marked 370 2 DEP Made in Germany. A third shoulder plate features the script inscription Germany Mabel 4/0. The group includes two unpainted white bisque baby head blanks, a damaged head with newspaper stuffing in the crown, multiple facial fragments, and one small white doll hand. Selected heads feature sleep eye mechanisms.
Largest heads measure approximately 4 to 5 inches in height. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
All items are sold as-is for parts or restoration due to extensive damage. Notable defects include a hairline crack on the mold 1894 head extending from the eye socket to the chin, significant crown breakage, and various fractures to shoulder plates. Components show surface grime, dust, localized staining, and traces of old adhesive tape.
