Description
This collection comprises approximately 150 to 200 compact discs (CDs) featuring a heavy emphasis on classic rock, hard rock, and pop-rock from the 1970s through the early 2000s. The discs are housed in three black Case Logic brand zippered storage binders: one larger binder designed for four discs per page side and two smaller portable wallets. Original jewel cases, booklets, and tray cards are not included. Notable artists and visible titles include Led Zeppelin (Led Zeppelin, Atlantic 19126-2), Rush (A Farewell to Kings, Mercury 822 546-2), Allman Brothers Band, Neil Young (Decade), Tom Petty (Wildflowers, Warner Bros. 9 45759-2), Buffalo Springfield, Ten Years After (A Space in Time, Chrysalis F2-21001), Tesla (Mechanical Resonance), T. Rex (The Wax Co. Singles), Blackfoot (Strikes, Atco 38-112-2), and Santana (Lotus). The lot also features Velvet Revolver (Contraband, RCA 82876 59794-2), Todd Rundgren (Initiation, Rhino RNCD 70866), Metallica (ReLoad and Garage Inc.), Poison (Flesh and Blood), Gov’t Mule (The Deep End Hidden Treasures Vol. 2), Dave Matthews Band (Under the Table and Dreaming), and 3 Doors Down. Pop and soul selections include Peter Gabriel (So, Geffen 9 24088-2), Marvin Gaye (Let’s Get It On), Melissa Etheridge (self-titled, Island 90875-2), and David Bowie (Sound + Vision). Additional artists include Tim Fogelberg and Tim Weisberg (Twin Sons of Different Mothers, Epic EK 35339), Joe Satriani (Surfing with the Alien), and Mannheim Steamroller. Several recordable CD-Rs with handwritten titles are also included within the binders. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
Media: The compact discs have not been individually tested for playback. Visual condition ranges from Good (G) to Very Good (VG), with many discs showing light surface marks and scuffs consistent with long-term storage in plastic sleeves. Storage: The three Case Logic binders show signs of moderate use and long-term storage, including surface dust, some staining, and fading to the exterior fabric and zippers. The lot consists of media only; original cases and inserts are not present.
