This Marlin Model 1895GBL is a lever-action rifle chambered in the powerful .45/70 Government caliber, configured in the popular Guide Big Loop style. The rifle features an 18-inch blued steel barrel and a matching blued receiver. Key barrel markings include 1895GBL *** MODEL 1895GBL – CAL. 45/70 GOVT. *** and THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. ILION, NEW YORK, U.S.A., as well as a (REP) proof mark on the right side. The left side of the receiver bears the serial number MR78026E and a small QR code. The furniture consists of a durable checkered brown laminate wood stock and forend, fitted with a black rubber recoil pad. This example is equipped with a Burris 2x-7x scope mounted on a Picatinny rail, complemented by high-visibility XS-brand iron sights. An adjustable black nylon sling is attached to the swivel studs. The original factory shipping box with a serial-matched label is included with the firearm. In house shipping available. Unless you have an FFL, we will have to ship to your FFL or you will have to undergo a background check when you come to pick up. In house shipping is available. Condition report:

The rifle is in good overall condition, exhibiting minor finish wear consistent with light use, primarily visible as operational marks on the bolt. The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling. The lever action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The laminate wood furniture is well-preserved with sharp checkering and no significant abrasions. The Burris optic shows clear glass and functional adjustment turrets. The original box is intact and shows standard shelf wear.
