Description
This Marlin Model 883SS is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 WMR, featuring a 22-inch stainless steel micro-groove barrel. The firearm is equipped with a tubular magazine and a stainless steel receiver, both showing a consistent brushed finish. The receiver is mounted with a silver-finish Bushnell Sportview scope featuring the B logo on the turret cap. The rifle is fitted with a Monte Carlo style laminated wood stock that displays a prominent brown and black grain pattern and includes a rubber butt pad and dual sling swivel studs. Prominent markings on the barrel include THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN, CT. U.S.A. and STAINLESS MODEL 883SS MICRO-GROOVE BARREL CAL. 22 W.M.R. ONLY. The serial number 04538590 is stamped on the left side of the receiver. The safety mechanism is clearly marked with SAFE and FIRE designations. Based on visual inspection with the provided scale, the overall length of the rifle is approximately 41 inches. In house shipping available. The stainless steel components are in good condition, exhibiting only minor surface handling marks and light debris on the exterior. The laminated wood stock is well-preserved with a vibrant finish and minimal signs of field use. The action appears to function correctly through manual cycling, and the bore is described as being in good condition. The mounted Bushnell optic appears clear, though the assembly has not been zeroed or live-fire tested.
