Description
This is a Crosman Model 2200 Magnum multi-pump pneumatic air rifle chambered for .22 caliber pellets, intended for target practice and small game control. The rifle is equipped with a 20-inch blued steel barrel and a matching under-barrel pump lever, resulting in a total overall length of approximately 39 inches based on the provided scale. The receiver and barrel band feature a bright chrome-plated finish, while the furniture consists of a brown textured polymer stock and forend with a white spacer at the buttplate and a raised comb. Key markings on the right side of the receiver are transcribed verbatim as Crosman 2200 Magnum and MODEL 2200 .22 CAL. PELLET. The left side of the receiver displays the Crosman AirGuns logo followed by the text A COLEMAN COMPANY and FAIRPORT, N.Y. U.S.A. The rifle is fitted with a fixed front blade sight and a step-adjustable rear leaf sight, with a cross-bolt safety located at the rear of the trigger guard. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The air rifle is in fair to good condition. The blued finish on the barrel and pump arm shows significant surface oxidation and areas of light pitting throughout. The chrome plating on the receiver remains bright but exhibits scattered light scratches and minor pinprick pitting. The polymer stock and forend are in good condition with minor handling scuffs but no cracks or structural damage. The sights are intact and functional. The pneumatic seals have not been tested for pressure retention or velocity, although the pump mechanism and trigger appear to function mechanically.
