Description
An assortment of vintage US military rifle parts and accessories, primarily consistent with M1 Garand and Model 1903 Springfield rifles. The lot includes a wooden buttstock measuring approximately 11.5 inches in length with the name Ballard handwritten on the rear face. Metal components feature a trigger guard and magazine housing assembly for an M1 Garand rifle, along with two metal buttplates equipped with spring-loaded trapdoors. One rear sight ladder is present, bearing stamped inscriptions: CAL. .30 M2, S.R. 31.12, and C.A. MFG CO. The group also contains several rolled brown leather rifle slings, one of which is marked with a stamped number 2. Additional items include various barrel bands, springs, pins, and screws. A small plastic bag containing miscellaneous small parts is hand-labeled MAUSER.
Buttstock length: 11.5 inches. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
