Description
A modern, high-quality reproduction of a World War II British 2nd Pattern Denison Smock, manufactured by Epic Militaria for the historical re-enactment and collector market. The garment is constructed from a heavyweight cotton twill featuring a brushstroke camouflage pattern in shades of green and brown on a sand-colored base. This second-pattern design features a half-zip front with a brass zipper and a protective flap. It includes four large external pockets with brass snap fasteners. The garment features the characteristic crotch flap, often referred to as a beaver tail, which can be snapped up to the rear when not in use. The cuffs are finished with button-adjustable tabs, and the shoulders feature buttoned epaulets. The interior is unlined, showing the bleed-through of the camouflage print. Two labels are present on the interior. The first is a reproduction military tag that reads: SMOCK DENISON / AIRBORNE TROOPS / Size 2 / J.B. & SON / 1944 / [Broad Arrow symbol]. The second identifies the manufacturer: EPIC / MILITARIA / RE-ENACTMENT & MILITARY COLLECTIBLES. This item retails for approximately 255.95 USD.
