July Military Auction
Lot 25969:
Description
A vintage mid-century motivational advertising banner, likely produced for workplace or educational display in the United States during the post-WWII era. The long, horizontal lithograph on heavy paper features a color illustration of Uncle Sam carrying a tray of consumer goods, including a radio, toaster, and other household appliances. The design incorporates a circular diagram showing the interconnected economic cycle of Mass Production, Advertising, and Mass Demand. The central slogan reads, Let’s keep rolling ahead! The artist signature NOXON is printed in the lithograph near the lower leg of the figure, and the production mark LITHO IN U.S.A. appears in the lower right corner. The proportions of this piece indicate it was designed as a door banner for industrial or commercial environments to promote productivity.
