Description
This lot consists of an assorted collection of antique and modern reproduction muzzle-loading firearm lock parts and components. The collection includes various lockplates, internal mechanisms, and small hardware primarily for 19th-century style percussion and flintlock rifles and pistols. The components are constructed from steel, iron, and brass. Several lockplates feature visible maker markings, including T. M. MASLIN WARRANTED, PARKER WARRANTED, CONESTOGA RIFLE Co, and B & W C BIDDLE & CO. The Conestoga mark refers to the Conestoga Rifle Works of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, while the Biddle mark refers to the 19th-century Philadelphia hardware firm. One lockplate is stamped SPAIN on the interior surface, identifying it as a modern reproduction. The lot includes one complete flintlock mechanism with engraved scrollwork on the plate and cock. Other parts include various hammers, tumblers, sears, springs, a trigger guard, and a selection of small screws and fittings.
Lockplate length: 4.25 inches to 5.5 inches

Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
