An assortment of volumes focused on military history, specifically the United States Marine Corps and the Vietnam War. The group includes multiple hardcover editions with original dust jackets and several trade paperbacks. Key hardcover titles include John C. Stevens III, Court-Martial at Parris Island (Naval Institute Press); James A. Warren, American Spartans (Free Press); Edward F. Murphy, Semper Fi Vietnam (Presidio Press); Merrill L. Bartlett and Jack Sweetman, Leathernecks (Naval Institute Press); and Ted Morgan, Valley of Death (Random House). Other titles present are A Distant Challenge, The Marine Machine by William Mares, and Keeping Faith by John and Frank Schaeffer. Softcover volumes include Stanley Karnow’s Vietnam: A History (Penguin), J. Robert Moskin’s The U.S. Marine Corps Story, and The Greatest U.S. Marine Corps Stories Ever Told edited by Iain C. Martin. The books feature various photographic plates, maps, and illustrations throughout. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
