A collection of hardcover non-fiction volumes focusing on the American Civil War and Native American history. The collection includes titles by prominent historians and scholars, featuring: Shiloh and the Western Campaign of 1862 by O. Edward Cunningham, edited by Gary D. Joiner and Timothy B. Smith (Savas Beatie); Gettysburg: The Last Invasion by Allen C. Guelzo (Knopf); The Indian Wars: Battles, Bloodshed, and the Fight for Freedom on the American Frontier by Anton Treuer (National Geographic); The Civil War: An Illustrated History by Geoffrey C. Ward with Ric Burns and Ken Burns (Knopf); Custer and the Little Bighorn: The Man, the Mystery, the Myth by Jim Donovan (Voyageur Press); Atlas of Indian Nations by Anton Treuer (National Geographic); Cold Harbor: Grant and Lee, May 26–June 3, 1864 by Gordon C. Rhea (Louisiana State University Press); Nothing But Victory: The Army of the Tennessee, 1861–1865 by Steven E. Woodworth (Knopf); Lincoln and His Generals by T. Most volumes are bound in publisher cloth and retain their original dust jackets. The Indian Wars features a red cloth binding with gold-stamped lettering and carries a personalized name stamp for R.P. MASON on the lower right of the front cover. These reference works are extensively illustrated with maps, historical photographs, and reproductions of period artwork. The volumes range in size from standard octavo to large quarto formats. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
