Description
This is a US military man’s raincoat manufactured from rubber coated nylon in a dark olive green. The garment features a double-breasted front with a button closure and includes a matching waist belt. An interior white fabric label identifies the item as Raincoat, Man’s, Nylon Rubber Coated, Green. The contract information provided on the label includes DSA100-76-C-0600, indicating a 1976 procurement date, and lists the manufacturer as Gibraltar Industries, Inc. A secondary size tag near the collar area specifies the size as 34 Short and includes the National Stock Number 8405-00-888-5250. The construction includes a wide notched collar, shoulder epaulets, and side pass-through pockets. The material is a lightweight, water-resistant synthetic fabric with a semi-matte finish.
