Description
This set consists of two United States military tropical combat uniform garments from the Vietnam War era, dating to the late 1960s or early 1970s. The set includes a tropical combat jacket and a matching pair of tropical combat trousers, both constructed from Olive Green 107 cotton poplin ripstop fabric. The tropical combat jacket features a four-pocket design, with two slanted chest cargo pockets and two lower bellows pockets, all equipped with button-down flaps and exposed buttons consistent with late-war production. It has an open collar and does not feature shoulder epaulets. A rectangular area on the upper chest shows fraying and adhesive residue from a previously removed name tape or insignia. The trousers are designed with six pockets, including two front slash pockets, two rear button-down pockets, and two large side-thigh cargo pockets. Adjustable side waist tabs with metal buckles and drawstring ties at the ankle cuffs are present. A printed white paper label is sewn into the interior waistband, reading: Waist: From 31 to 35 inches., Inseam: 29 1/2 to 32 1/2 inches., Stock No: 8405-935-33. This stock number corresponds to a size Medium-Regular. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos.
