Description
This garment is a military-style field jacket designed in the pattern of a US Army M42 paratrooper jump jacket. It is constructed from heavy olive green cotton twill and features four large pleated bellows cargo pockets with snap-flap closures. The two upper chest pockets are set at a characteristic slant. A dark charcoal grey reinforced shooting patch is sewn onto the right shoulder, and epaulettes are present on both shoulders. The jacket includes an integrated waist belt with a metal slider buckle and a vertical action back pleat to facilitate movement. The front closure consists of a heavy-gauge brass zipper protected by a snap-down storm flap. The barrel cuffs feature two-position snap adjustments. A printed cotton 48-star United States flag patch is affixed to the upper left sleeve. The interior hardware components of the snaps bear embossed characters that are not clearly legible due to wear and oxidation. No manufacturer labels, contract stamps, or size tags are present.
