Description
This is a US military-issue M-1965 cold weather field jacket produced by the John Ownbey Company Inc. under contract DLA100-84-C-0544, dating the garment to 1984. The jacket is constructed from a heavyweight cotton and nylon sateen fabric in the standard US Woodland camouflage pattern. Features include a heavy-duty brass zipper closure with a snap-down storm flap, four front cargo pockets with snap closures, internal waist and hem drawstrings, and a concealed hood within the zippered collar. The garment has been customized for service with the Newark Police Department of Ohio. It features two olive drab name tapes sewn above the chest pockets reading POLICE and MASON. The left chest pocket features a circular yellow embroidered patch for a SUPERVISOR with NEWARK POLICE OHIO. The right shoulder bears a subdued arrowhead-shaped patch embroidered with POLICE, NEWARK, OHIO, and the slogan LAND OF LEGEND. The left sleeve features subdued Sergeant rank chevrons. The interior neck label identifies the size as Small Regular.

Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
