Description
An assortment of military surplus items primarily dating from the Vietnam War through the mid-1970s. The collection includes a United States issue M1961 field pack, also known as a butt pack, constructed of Olive Drab cotton canvas with a clear identification window on the top flap and ALICE-style attachment clips on the reverse. Headgear includes a tropical combat hat in ERDL pattern camouflage with a contract date of 1969 by E.C.T. Corporation, an Olive Green 107 rip-stop cotton jungle hat with a contract date of 1969 by Metz of California, and an OG-106 hot weather field cap dated 1976 by Bancroft Cap Co., Inc. Also included is a theater-made or private purchase tigerstripe camouflage pattern boonie hat featuring a black inner lining and brass-colored ventilation grommets. Footwear is represented by a pair of cross-strap sandals with soles constructed from recycled tire tread in the style of North Vietnamese Army or Viet Cong issues. Display accessories consist of multiple mannequin heads, including five white polystyrene foam heads, one white foam head painted in a green and black tigerstripe pattern, and one flesh-tone plastic head.

Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
