This extensive collection represents the United States Army, Navy, and Marine Corps through a variety of service awards, campaign medals, proficiency badges, and uniform hardware dating from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century. The assembly includes campaign medals for the Spanish-American War, Philippine Insurrection, China Relief Expedition, Mexican Border Service, Nicaraguan Campaigns, Haitian Campaign, and Yangtze Service. World War II is represented by the American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. Korean War era items include the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal for Korea.

Service and proficiency medals are present for multiple branches, including several Good Conduct Medals for the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps, as well as a Navy Expert Rifleman Medal. Reverse inscriptions on these medals include United States Army For Service, United States Navy For Service, and United States Marine Corps For Service. The collection also features multiple ribbon bars, some with bronze service star attachments, and assorted uniform hardware such as brass web belt buckles, slides, and Great Seal of the United States buttons.

Textile items include several United States Army 2nd Infantry Division Indian Head shoulder sleeve insignia and various enlisted brass collar disks featuring US identifiers and crossed rifles infantry branch insignia. Miscellaneous items of note include a United Spanish War Veterans National Auxiliary hanging medal, with a top bar marked U.S.W.V. and a central medallion marked National Auxiliary U.S.W.V., and a shield-shaped Chicago Municipal Playgrounds Handicraft pin marked W.M. Schridde Chicago on the reverse. The medals are primarily struck in bronze or brass with silk or synthetic grosgrain ribbons. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
