A collection of seven early twentieth-century US Army collar branch insignia pins, dating to the World War I era. The collection represents both Infantry and Cavalry branches, including several regiment- and company-specific devices.

The first group comprises two US Army Infantry collar insignia pins from the 13th Infantry Regiment, Company I. These devices depict crossed rifles with the regiment number 13 positioned above the intersection and the company letter I below. Both utilize threaded screwback posts with circular knurled thumb nuts. One pin retains a bright gold-gilt finish, while the second example displays a heavily darkened, oxidized age patina.

The second group includes one US Army Infantry collar insignia pin from the 5th Infantry Regiment, Company E. This device features crossed rifles with the regiment number 5 above and the company letter E below. It is secured with a threaded screwback post with a circular knurled thumb nut and retains a bright gold-gilt finish.

The third group consists of two US Army Cavalry collar insignia pins from the 7th Cavalry Regiment, Troop A. The first is a silver-toned crossed sabers device with the regiment number 7 above and troop letter A below, secured by a threaded screwback post and two stabilizing pins on the outer tips. The second is a larger brass crossed sabers device with the regiment number 7 above and troop letter A below, featuring a flat mounting plate on the reverse.

The final group contains a matched pair of plain crossed cavalry sabers insignia pins. These devices feature pin-back fasteners with open C-clasps. Stamped into the reverse crossbar of both pieces is the text ROLLED PLATE.
