Description
This collection consists of six inert US military-style hand grenades representing three distinct historical patterns. The group includes three Mk 2 fragmentation grenades, one M26 grenade, and two M67 grenades. These items are constructed with cast-iron bodies and are fitted with training or dummy fuze assemblies, including safety levers and pull rings. The bodies are finished in olive drab paint with a yellow band at the neck. Each specimen has been rendered permanently inert by a hole drilled through the base of the casting. One Mk 2 pattern grenade displays raised cast markings A, 7, S, and 5 on the body segments. One M67 pattern grenade features a cast number 3 at the base, while the other M67 pattern displays a cast number 5. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
