This lot features silver bullion coins produced by the Royal Canadian Mint as part of the 2017 8 Dollar Grizzly Bear issue. Each coin is struck in .9999 fine silver. The obverse depicts the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with the inscriptions ELIZABETH II, 8 DOLLARS, and D. G. REGINA, and includes the artist initials SB at the base of the neck. The background features a radial line security pattern. The reverse shows a grizzly bear standing on a rocky outcrop with the inscriptions CANADA 2017, FINE SILVER 1 1/2 OZ ARGENT PUR, and 9999. A small maple leaf security mark and the letters PL are visible on the reverse. Each coin is individually housed in a clear plastic capsule with a white foam ring insert.
