This lot features Canadian Grizzly Bear silver bullion coins issued by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2017. Each coin is struck in .9999 fine silver with a weight of 1 1/2 troy ounces and a legal tender face value of 8 Dollars. The obverse displays the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II against a background of radial lines, with inscriptions ELIZABETH II, 8 DOLLARS, and D.G. REGINA. The reverse depicts a grizzly bear standing on a rocky outcrop and includes a micro-engraved maple leaf security mark. Reverse inscriptions read CANADA 2017, the purity 9999, the artist initials PL, and the metal content FINE SILVER 1 1/2 OZ ARGENT PUR. The coins are presented in individual protective plastic capsules featuring white foam ring inserts.
