This lot features three 2016 Canadian 8 Dollar silver bullion coins, each struck in 1.5 troy ounces of .9999 fine silver. The obverse depicts the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Susanna Blunt (initials SB) set against a background of radial lines. Inscriptions include ELIZABETH II, D G REGINA, and the denomination 8 DOLLARS. The reverse features a gyrfalcon in flight, a design by artist Steve Hepburn (initials SH), surrounded by the legends CANADA 2016, FINE SILVER 1 1/2 OZ ARGENT PUR, and the purity 9999. A micro-engraved maple leaf security mark is present on the reverse field below the bird. The coins feature reeded edges and are individually presented in clear plastic protective capsules with white foam rings.
