A collection of silver bullion coins produced by the Royal Canadian Mint as part of the Wildlife series. Each coin is dated 2014 and struck in 1.5 troy ounces of .9999 fine silver with an 8-dollar face value. The reverse features a detailed design of an Arctic fox in its natural habitat by artist Maurice Gervais, whose initials MG are visible near the fox’s front leg. The reverse field is inscribed with CANADA, 9999, and FINE SILVER 1 1/2 OZ ARGENT PUR. The obverse features the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by artist Susanna Blunt, with the artist’s initials SB visible on the truncation of the neck. Obverse inscriptions include ELIZABETH II, 8 DOLLARS, and 2014. The coins are presented in clear protective plastic capsules with white inner rings.
