A 2016 commemorative two-dollar legal tender coin issued by Niue and struck by the New Zealand Mint. Part of the Mickey Through the Ages series, this coin is composed of one troy ounce of .999 fine silver with a proof finish and selective color application. The reverse depicts Mickey Mouse as he appeared in the 1928 short film Plane Crazy. The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II along with the date and denomination. The coin is housed in a clear protective capsule and presented in the original wooden display case with a velvet-lined interior. It is accompanied by an illustrated outer box and a certificate of authenticity numbered 03605.
