Description
This collection of antique and vintage buttons features a vast assortment of mother-of-pearl, shell, and bone examples in various sizes and styles. The lot includes a significant group of metallic uniform and military-style buttons, predominantly brass and silver-toned, exhibiting various insignias such as anchors, eagles, and organizational emblems. Notable manufacturer markings include the Waterbury Button Co., Rochester Company, and Sweet Orr, along with abbreviations such as P.O.D., S.P., and U.S. These items are buttons presented across several large trays and include secondary groupings on display cards, in small boxes, and in protective plastic sleeves with handwritten cataloging notations. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
