Description
This collection of vintage and antique buttons is organized on several display cards categorized by pattern and design, including Greek Key, linear, multi-armed, and foil motifs. The buttons are crafted from a diverse array of materials such as mother-of-pearl, shell, glass, wood, various metals including aluminum and white metal, and early synthetic resins like phenolic. Several cards include printed labels referencing National Button Society (NBS) classifications from the February 2003 edition, along with handwritten notes detailing specific materials and styles. The assortment includes various techniques such as molded glass, carved shell, stamped metal, and geometric inlays.
Display cards approximately 11 inches by 8.5 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
