Description
An assortment of antique buttons displayed on two original presentation cards. The first card, labeled Steel Cups Small Page 10, features various metal buttons with ornate embossed, enameled, and openwork designs, including examples with glass or gemstone-like accents. Handwritten notations on the card identify specific types such as Lot Rim, Pierced Rim, Thread Bound, and Hexagon. The second card, labeled Steel Cups Small with MOP Page 7, contains buttons constructed with steel rims and mother-of-pearl centers, showcasing diverse starburst, floral, and geometric patterns. These buttons represent late 19th to early 20th-century styles and manufacturing techniques.
