Description
A collection of vintage and antique buttons featuring various deer, stag, elk, and moose motifs. The assortment includes a wide range of materials such as brass, silver-tone metal, aluminum, glazed ceramic, glass, and plastic. Notable pieces within the group include two square, glazed ceramic buttons attributed to Lucie Rie based on accompanying handwritten notes, as well as a brass button displaying the B.P.O.E. (Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks) insignia. The collection includes several pictorial buttons with high-relief detailing and various decorative forms. These items are buttons presented on a display card labeled DEER.
Mounting card: 9 inches in height. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
