Description
A collection of vintage and modern buttons primarily constructed from wood and presented on five labeled display boards. The collection is organized into thematic sections including Wood, Wood (Modern), and Wood Realistics. The assortment features a variety of forms ranging from traditional circular and geometric shapes to intricate figural designs such as animals, buildings, tools, and floral motifs. Decorative techniques include hand-painting, detailed carving, wood inlay, and various stained or natural finishes. Specific figural examples include a carved lighthouse, a painted cat, a pineapple, and various tools. The items are mounted to cardstock boards with handwritten and printed annotations for classification.
Ruler indicates the display boards are approximately 11 inches in height. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
