Description
This collection consists of an assortment of novelty buttons featuring a wide variety of figural and thematic designs. The group includes animal motifs such as dinosaurs, cats, birds, insects, and a turtle, alongside a series of enameled produce items including corn, carrots, chili peppers, and a tomato. Other notable designs include musical instruments such as a guitar, drums, and a banjo, as well as a birdcage, a padlock, and heraldic-style buttons featuring crossed swords and crowns. The items are fashioned from mixed materials, including silver-tone and gold-tone metals with multi-colored enamel accents. The collection is mounted on a white grid display board which contains handwritten notations for Todd Oldham and Susan Clark. The buttons exhibit various construction methods including cast metal and cold enamel application.
Display board: 10.5 inches by 8.25 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
