Description
An assortment of novelty and collectible buttons presented on an Animal ABC themed display board. The collection includes buttons crafted from diverse materials such as pewter, carved bone, wood, ceramic, glass moonglow with paint, iridescent shell over plastic, etched brass, pressed metal, and white metal with enamel and rhinestones. Specific designs include a dachshund, a swan, a zebra, a cicada, a lobster, a rooster, and a turtle. One button depicts a moose and is labeled as painted brass by Susan Clarke. Another unique piece features an opossum painted on a gourd fragment and is noted as signed. Construction types include sew-thru and pierced shanks. The buttons are secured to the backing board with adhesive or tape.
Board measures approximately 11.5 inches wide. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
