Description
This assortment of novelty and decorative buttons is presented on two labeled display boards. The first board, titled BUTTONS ON BUTTONS, features tiered and composite designs in plastic and metal. Notable pieces include a movable enamel elephant with the annotation MOVEABLE NBS and an oval mat board piece inscribed PAPER (MAT BOARD) SUSAN PIPPEN 22. The second board, titled BODY PARTS, contains buttons in various anatomical shapes including hands, feet, skulls, and a large red plastic lip. Materials include silver-tone and gold-tone metal, enamel, carved resin, and plastic. Construction methods vary, including a threadback design on the lip button. These items are buttons featuring contemporary and vintage styles.
The display boards measure approximately 9 inches in width. Individual buttons range from approximately 0.5 inches to 2 inches in length. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
