Description
This collection of vintage and contemporary decorative buttons and novelty pins is organized by theme on multiple display cards. These items are buttons featuring various motifs including bees, cows and cattle, containers, black and white patterns, cartoons and symbols, cones, clovers, cacti, snakes, and couples. The materials used in this assortment encompass enameled metal, brass, silver-tone and copper-tone alloys, carved wood, shell, hand-painted ceramic, porcelain, Jasperware-style stoneware, and glass. Notable examples include Birchcroft China porcelain pins depicting Looney Tunes characters such as the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote. Visible markings and labels within the group include Helen Darner, Paris B.M., and Au Revoir. The collection also features cocktail-themed buttons with names such as Martini, Manhattan, and Side Car. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
