Description
A collection of antique and vintage buttons mounted on two labeled display cards. The first card, titled Glass in Metal and Victorian Jewels, includes various buttons with glass, enamel, and composite inserts set into brass-toned metal frames. Notations on the card include Parfait 23 Paris, Darfait 17 Paris, extra fine, and woman’s head pad back, identifying specific manufacturing origins and construction types. The second card, labeled Drums, displays deeply recessed buttons with diverse decorative centers, including mother-of-pearl, floral and fruit patterns, geometric designs, and textured enamels. These items are buttons that encompass a range of styles such as Art Nouveau and mid-century designs.
Individual buttons range from approximately 0.25 inches to 1.25 inches in diameter.
Display cards measure approximately 9 inches in height. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
