Description
This collection consists of several display cards featuring decorative novelty buttons primarily focusing on Christmas and kiddie themes. These items are buttons constructed from a variety of materials including enamel-painted metal, plastic, wood, ceramic, and polymer clay. The holiday-themed items include designs such as Santas, snowmen, angels, and gingerbread men. Notable pieces within the group include a set of seven wooden Christmas-shaped buttons, an embroidered floral button with an attribution to Helen Darner, and a handcrafted polymer clay fireplace button by Annette Calicoat dated 2021. The kiddie button display contains small metal novelties in various shapes such as teddy bears, ice cream cones, and musical instruments. Several buttons are mounted on cards with hand-painted or felt backgrounds, including one featuring a large green felt Christmas tree.
Display cards: Approximately 9 to 11 inches in height Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
