Description
These items are buttons and small brooches organized on three display cards. The collection includes a group of mid-20th century cold plastic enamel (CPE) pieces featuring floral, figural, and abstract designs, including a butterfly brooch and a button marked PICASSO. A second card contains Damascene-style metal buttons with gold-tone inlay on black grounds, depicting Spanish themes such as Don Quixote and Bullfight, along with landscapes and birds. A third smaller card holds geometric buttons with handwritten provenance indicating they were manufactured after WWI for tourists in Bombay. Construction materials include various base metals, enamel, and gold-tone foil inlay.
Width of larger cards: approximately 9 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
