Description
This extensive collection of antique and vintage buttons is professionally organized across several themed display boards. The assortment includes categories such as Lusters, Goldstone on Black Glass, Intaglio Black Glass, and Intermixed Black Glass. Materials featured include iridescent black glass, goldstone glass with copper-colored inclusions, and wheel-cut intaglio designs. One board is dedicated to fabric and mixed-media examples, showcasing embroidered velvet, petit-point, and woven textiles. These items are buttons that span several eras, including 19th-century examples with patent marks and modern studio pieces from the early 2000s. The collection includes a 2019 second-prize award ribbon from the Buckeye State Button Society and accompanying judging documentation.
Display boards approximately 9 by 12 inches each. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
