Description
A Dazey Churn No. 40 glass butter churn manufactured by the Dazey Churn and Manufacturing Company of St. Louis, Missouri. The unit features a clear, square-sided glass jar with embossed markings including DAZEY CHURN NO 40, PATENTED FEB 14 22, and DAZEY CHURN & MFG CO. ST. LOUIS MO. MADE IN U.S.A. The top-mounted mechanical assembly consists of a cast metal gear frame with a hand-cranked mechanism, a wooden handle grip, and a four-blade wooden dasher. The metal lid includes a perforated screen. The name DAZEY is cast into the metal frame.
Height: approximately 14.5 inches Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
