Description
An early 20th-century mantel clock produced by the Sessions Clock Co. of Forestville, Connecticut. The rectangular case is constructed of black-painted wood and features two ornate cast-metal decorative mounts with floral and scrollwork motifs. The circular dial, housed within a brass bezel, displays Arabic numerals and includes two winding ports. The dial face bears the inscription MADE BY THE SESSIONS CLOCK CO., FORESTVILLE, CONN., U.S.A. A removable rear panel provides access to the internal brass mechanical movement and chime coil. This lot includes a loose pendulum bob and a winding key.
Height: 11 inches Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
